I love the lines of this poncho. It’s a “play” on the traditional Log Cabin construction. Kristin has taken the traditional quilt construction and turned it into something crisp and modern. I would absolutely wear this and I would use the pattern to make a throw as well. For any of your family or friends who say they don’t like crochet because it looks too old fashioned, this is definitely a style for them.
Kristin has used her own branded yarn for this project. The yarn is called Be So Brave. It is 100% merino worsted weight and according to The Crochet Dude’s live Facebook video yesterday, it is luscious!
Kristin donates a portion of all the proceeds for her products to her charity fund to help victims of domestic violence, Project Kristin Cares, including this yarn and the name “Be So Brave” is, I’m sure, a personal mantra and message for those victims.
