Naturally, it’s super easy to fall in love with adorable baby stuff, isn’t it? Pretty little baby stuff. It’s the reason I first learned to crochet.
This little bonnet is designed by Sara at Tangled Happy. That wonderful crisp look you see in the stitches is the result of using cotton. Sara used a DK weight cotton. If you’ve never used a nice cotton yarn before, you will be amazed at the look of your projects! I highly recommend it.
When you get ready to start this project, be sure to research “half double crochet in third loop, worked in rows”. Since there has never been a widely-used name for this stitch, it’s gone by many names. The most common right now is “third loop” and you’ll find more information by searching that way. Very easy stitch with fantastic results, but you work the stitch differently depending on whether you work in rounds or flat.
