This won’t be a full copy of part 1 since some of it is general information about the pattern. You’ll need to visit part 1 in order to start.

Posting Schedule
This pattern is the equivalent of four separate patterns so I’m releasing it in four parts. It is way too much information to put on one page.
Each part will be released by the dates below and linked here.
Entrelac Faux Knit Throw Part 1 – released
Entrelac Faux Knit Throw Part 2 – released
Entrelac Faux Knit Throw Part 3 – released
Entrelac Faux Knit Throw Part 4 – released
If you purchase the PDF at the Ravelry link above, it will be 30% off through the end of October. The PDF will be updated on the additional release dates. For example, if you purchase the PDF before October 9, it will only include the first part, but after part 2 release, the PDF will be updated with the new information. Beginning in November, the PDF will be full price.
Since this is a multi-part pattern, it’s not eligible for the email newsletter signup.

Instructions
Body Of Blanket
In order to complete the height of the blanket photographed, repeat tiers 2-3 thirteen more times (or to height desired) then complete one more of tier 2.
First Triangle
NOTE: These instructions create the final tier which consists only of the same triangle element across. These are filler triangles to square off the top. When working chains and any slip stitches, try to work loosely since you will be working into them later.
Row 1: Join yarn with sl st in marked st from previous tier, *insert hook in side of next row, pull lp through, rep from * 5 times more: 7 sts. Close: sk 1 ch, insert hook in side of next row of next element, yo, pull lp through and pull lp through st on hook (sl st made), [yo, pull through 2 lps on hook] across.
Row 2: Sk first st, 6 tks (see Special Stitches): 7 sts. Close: sl st to side of next row of next element (1 st closed), [yo, pull through 2 loops on hook] to last 2 sts, yo, pull through 3 lps on hook.
Row 3: Sk first st, 5 tks: 6 sts. Close: sl st to side of next row of next element (1 st closed), [yo, pull through 2 loops on hook] to last 2 sts, yo, pull through 3 lps on hook.
Row 4: Sk first st, 4 tks: 5 sts. Close: sl st to side of next row of next element (1 st closed), [yo, pull through 2 loops on hook] to last 2 sts, yo, pull through 3 lps on hook.
Row 5: Sk first st, 3 tks: 4 sts. Close: sl st to side of next row of next element (1 st closed), yo, pull through 2 loops on hook, yo, pull through 3 lps on hook.
Row 6: Sk first st, 2 tks: 3 sts. Close: sl st to side of next row of next element, pulling through all remaining sts at the same time, closing all remaining sts and ending with 1 lp on the hook, sl st in the same st as the previous sl st joining.
Next Triangle
Row 1: *Insert hook in side of next row, pull lp through, rep from * 5 times more: 7 sts. Close: sk 1 ch, insert hook in side of next row of next element, yo, pull lp through and pull lp through st on hook (sl st made), [yo, pull through 2 lps on hook] across.
Rows 2-6: Repeat as for First Rectangle.
Repeat Triangles across to end. Fasten off after last Triangle: 13 Triangles.
Trim
Note: This portion is made with the smaller hook. See Special Stitches above for instructions on FPdc and BPdc.
Round 1: Join solid color yarn with sl st at any corner, ch 2 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same position, creating corner, work an odd number of dc evenly around each side of blanket, with 3 dc in each corner, sl st to first dc.
Round 2: Ch 1, work FPdc around same dc as joining, work [BPdc, FPdc, BPdc] in the next dc, work FPdc around next dc (full corner made), work [BPdc in next dc, FPdc in next dc] along side and repeat full corner and sides around, sl st to first dc.
