My Crochet Pattern Notes
This design is worked from short edge to short edge. With the stitch multiple provided, you can make your project any width you like. This is a great, quick lace that can be used to make a scarf, shawl or afghan. Continue working the 4-row repeat until it reaches the length you want.
Making An Infinity Scarf
An Infinity Scarf is a long rectangle that is worked in a tube. I love when the scarf is long enough to wear doubled like this. It has all the benefits of a cowl that doesn’t blow around but still has the coziness of a warm, elegant scarf.
If you would like to turn this scarf pattern into an Infinity scarf, seam the first row to the last row with a yarn needle. Very easy.
Matching Hat and Scarf Set
This Scarf is part of a matched set of scarf and hat. The Cranberry Lace Scarf pattern is also available free at Make It Crochet. You will still have enough yarn remaining from the single skein and both projects can be finished in about 4 – 4 1/2 hours total.

Finished Size
58″ long x 7″ wide.
Yarn
Lion Brand “Re-Spun Bonus Bundle” yarn, size 4 weight, 100% recycled polyester, 658 yds/602m per 10 oz/284g skein: 1 skein, approx. 350 yards used, in color Cranberry.
At the time of writing this pattern, “Re-Spun Bonus Bundle”, an aran/worsted weight yarn, is available in 18 shades.
I was able to find it at Joann.
If you are unable to use Re-Spun, choose any soft acrylic or acrylic blend in size 4 weight. A heavier, stiff yarn may have different results and require an adjustment in hook size and stitch count.
Other Materials
Suggested Crochet Hook Size J-10 (6mm), or size needed to meet gauge.
Yarn Needle for weaving ends.
Gauge
In stitch pattern, 23 stitches for 12 rows measures approximately 4″ x 4″.
Stitch Multiple
To change the width, make your initial chain any multiple of 10, then add 12.

Love your patterns. I learned Tunisian crochet from your videos and instructions. Can you design a few new Tunisian patterns?
